Ok well given that I haven’t exactly figured out what to blog about on a regular basis (unlike Amanda, who literally has a new blog idea every 4 minutes – You won’t believe some of the stuff she is planning for you! So good!) I thought I would blog… about… the blog. 

This all stems from the amusement that Sally(my BFF and old school Lola & Emily Alum- all the beautiful things in the window… yeah, she did those.) got from me sending her my “Lid Log” every day when she first went to New Zealand (yes, the Lid Log was about my hair… how I was feeling about it at that exact moment, what I hoped it would do for me that day, which as it turns out, was never very much, why I felt it wasn’t performing at it’s best, you know… the usual… ) And while it may seem just a tiny bit ridiculous… well, you be the judge.

Posting hasn’t been as hard as I expected, although I have no idea what a “Tag” is, or how to create a “Category”, and am racked with nerves about what to post next…. but so far so good.

I know its “Posting Time”  (aka PT here in the back office… ok, well not technically yet, but I will be calling it that tomorrow) when Amanda gets up from her desk determinedly, marches into the store, returns with something new and pretty and proceeds to set up her whole computer/photo station.  After watching her do it all herself about 5  or 10 times, I offered to help.

Spent a good couple of days trying to figure out if posting the above shots would fit the “Show your personality” advice we got from our Blog Gurus (Christina, Marie-Eve and Isabelle or CM-EI as I will now refer to them… everything is an acronym from now on, so get used to it) or take it over the edge to “Showing TOO much of your personality”.

Luckily, I was able to construct this clever diversionary tactic whereby it seems like I am confused and therefore asking you for your opinion about whether these should be posted, and not like I am just posting them myself regardless of whether some people might be like… WOW.  They clearly have too much time on their hands over there at Lola & Emily…. Which we sometimes do, but in this particular circumstance, we were gearing up for Street Sale, and had actually been working hard (ok, pretty hard…. ok, the girls in the store were working hard….) and needed a good laugh.  Which, you know, we all had.  So, mission accomplished.

Still waiting for the Lola & Emily-ification of the site, and for a few days there, I was a bit worried that Dave, our Web Guy (WG), was perhaps offended by my insinuation that people could feel his “touch”… which I didn’t… and he wasn’t… (see my first post… it’s too long to explain here…) But it seems he was rather chuffed about being included and now I am thinking of trying to include him in all of my posts.  Hope he sees this and is happy about the shout out so he makes this look all pretty.  There.  Dave has made it in again.

Does that mean he should have a “Tag”.  Or Does he get a “Category”.  Dammit.  Back to where I started.
