I know I wrote that whole LONG, EXTENDED post about the Royal Wedding yesterday, but, well, we have another wedding that means a lot to us here at Lola & Emily today…

Longtime Lola & Emily girl (or grrrrrllllll, as she sometimes prefers to be referred to….) Zyanna is marrying longtime Lola & Emily girl wannabe Gordie in New York City today.  We lost Zy and Gordie to NYC/Brooklyn a few months ago, and we miss them here in Montreal terribly.  But, I think we all agree that they will do great things down there, and we could not have been happier to hear that they were gettin’ hitched.  As I said to Zy, if they were smart, they would have some sort of livefeed on FB or Twitter or YouTube or wherever ‘livefeeds’ happen, because I think that I would watch that over THE Royal Wedding for sure.

From all of us at Lola & Emily, Zy and Gordie, we wish you SO much good stuff in your life together, and I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we wish we could be there celebrating with you… but we weren’t invited.  I’m sure there was limited space and you were worried about passports and visas or something or you lost our address or whatever… You could have just sent a quick email or text or something, but, I’m sure you’ve been super busy down there… it’s nothing… you know what? Forget it.  You two have fun with the people you DID invite… it’s your day… It is just a few weeks before MY birthday, but still… your day. 

Hahhahaha.  Just kidding (obvi!!!!) ENJOY my friends, and please do post pics asap.  Zy, you will look gorgeous.  Gordie, you will look dapper, of that I am sure.  If I could give you guys anything as your wedding gift it would be these… To keep Sophie company.
