Ok… I can barely contain my excitement about going to see Eminem at Osheaga on Friday night.  You may remember this post I did a while ago about how I might break up with my fictional boyfriend, the lead singer of Mumford and Sons for Eminem… anyhow, my guess is, after the show on Friday, Marshall and I will be official. And now, Amanda just informed me that Jay-Z and Kanye are coming to Montreal in September, and I’m basically beside myself with excitement. I saw Jay-Z with Amanda back in October of 2009 and it was SUCH a fantastic show that I promised myself I would see him again if I could.

Like I’m almost as excited as my niece Lily was this weekend, when I put a new pale pink sparkly nail polish THAT CHANGES COLOUR on her (a gift from Amanda, who clearly knows what will rock a 4-year-old girl’s world)! After I put it on her, she held her little hands out to me, with her fingers almost shaking in excitement, she said “Do you love it?? I LOVE it. Do you LOVE it, Mawnie?” She can’t really pronounce the ‘r’ in my name, which is also the cutest thing ever, but is a little strange because when she says my name in French, it’s a perfect “Marrrrnie”… so I don’t really know what’s up with that. But anyhow, I’m as excited about Jay-Z coming back to Montreal as Lily was about her new nailpolish colour. YES… THAT excited. Do you LOVE it??? You can get excited along with me by watching this…
