We just received some new, sparkly Parker stuff, and last night I was trying to figure out how to feature it on the blog.  When I came in this morning, this outfit was on the mannequin, and I have to say, I love it. 

I feel like it’s such a good way of showing that these sequin pieces don’t have to be reserved for ‘holiday’.  The mix of the Mercy Mohair jacket, the braided leather belt and the red Noe heels just says “I’ve got my sh*t together.  I know that you might only wear this dress to some holiday party, but I’m taking it up a notch.  I’m wearing it TODAY.  Deal with it.”  And I feel pretty sure that everyone would deal with it.  And probably think “Hey.  If she can pull that off today, I can do it too.  I’m doing it.  And YOU can all deal with it.”  And so on and so on.  Until the bleak, grey streets of Montreal will be brightened by glimpses of sequin and sparkle everywhere, and we will all be happier because of it.  The End.
