Friday Night Lights
Is literally my new best friend. Sorry to all my other BFFs, but most some of you have already become besties with FNL so you know what I am talking about.
I loved the movie, when it came out way back in 2004, and I heard about the TV series, which started in 2006. It got great reviews, but was one of those shows that was always on the verge of being cancelled. Anyhow, Amanda has been telling me to rent the series and watch it for a while, and given that I have extra time on my hands these days, last night I watched the first episode on AppleTV, and immediately rented the whole first season. It’s SOOOOOOOO good. I watched 6 episodes last night. If it wasn’t already 3am, I would have watched more. I defy you to watch one episode and leave it at that… The acting is amazing, the characters are totally compelling and the music is just so perfect.

just wait till you get to season 2. and season 3. makes you want to be in highschool all over again.
ok maybe not. but still it’s freaking great.

For some reason I don’t want to like it. Hence I don’t want to watch it and find out I like it because then a whole idea I had will be shot to hell. That said, now I’m worried i’m missing something really good – so I will have to rent it.I’ll probably rent it tonight in fact.
