Nothing says “Halloween” like skating.  Well, maybe that’s not entirely true.  But yesterday we had a bit of a skating party for friends and family at 1000 de la Gauchetiere indoor rink.  Did I dress up? No.  Did I skate? No, no I didn’t.  (Neither did Sally… just sayin’)  But I was there.  And there were people dressed up and skating, so it’s kind of the same thing.  Look, I’m not that good a skater (I think I have weak ankles, which is weird, if you consider my whole ‘giant calf’ thing… I mean, it’s like adding insult to injury, right?  Giant calves AND weak ankles?  That’s just not right.)  And I didn’t really have time to come up with a costume as I had to have brunch.  Anyway, that is SO not the point of this.  The point is this:
