So, if, by chance, the Nudies that we received yesterday are not your style, we have options for you.  I myself am not a skinny jean person.  Or perhaps, more appropriately, I am not a skinny person.  Ahahaha.  Having said that, we all know that skinny jeans are not just for skinny people.  They actually look good on so many different body types.  But I have always been more drawn to the boot cut, classic jean shape.

And these Joe’s that we just got in fit the bill.  First, the Icon fit.  A mid-rise with bootcut, these are pretty much a classic jean shape and fit.  Everyone needs a pair of these, and they probably need to be replaced every year or so because you have worn them so much that they aren’t looking quite as awesome as they once did.  You want these jeans to be ‘clean’… not “clean” as in “not dirty”, although I suppose that yes, you want them not dirty… but you want them looking fresh.  Not like they have been washed a million times.  No fraying back hem after traipsing through Winter in Montreal.  No extra fading.  You like these ones because they are ‘jean’ blue and they fit you perfectly, with the higher waist helping to keep everything tight.

And next, the Socialite in a lighter wash.  Again, these are a classic shape and fit, but with a tiny bit of a lower rise, and a more ‘worn’ look.  These really do look like the jeans you have had for 10 years, lovingly worn, perfectly fit to your body, the ones that no matter how you are feeling about yourself… you put them on and feel better.  Because they know you.  They love you.  And they are there for you.

So, whatever you are looking for in a jean… I think we have you covered.  Plus, did you know that January is “New Jean Month”?  Granted, I may have just made that up, but it actually seems about right.  It’s time to replace the old.  It’s time to find a pair that make you feel awesome, and that you will not feel guilty about wearing every day and night for  the next 6 weeks because they are new, and need to be worn in a bit… It’s the circle of jean, ladies.  You know what I am talking about.  So come down to Lola & Emily and get yourself a new pair.
